How to make Grilled Steak Kebobs:

Soak four wooden skewers in water for 10 – 15 minutes.

Cut the steak into 12 equal pieces and place into a gallon size storage bag.

Slice the mushrooms in half and add to the bag.

Dice the green peppers into twelve 1 inch squares and add to the bag.

Chop the onion into twelve 1 inch pieces and add to the bag.

In a medium sized bowl whisk together the soy sauce, ketchup, cooking oil, white vinegar, brown sugar, garlic powder, and onion powder. Click for a whisk.

Pour the marinade over the ingredients in the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes – 2 hours.

Place the potatoes in a medium saucepan and add enough water to cover by 1 inch. Bring the water to a boil and cook potatoes until just barely fork-tender, about 5 – 7 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Add a piece of steak, an onion, a green pepper, a potato, and a mushroom, to a skewer. Repeat until there are three of each item on the skewer. Repeat with the remaining skewers.

Heat a grill to medium-high and lightly oil the grate. Add the kebobs and grill about 2 minutes on each of the four sides.

Ingredients

For the Kebobs:

  • 3/4 lb ribeye steak
  • 6 baby bella mushrooms (about 1 inch in size)
  • 12 baby potatoes (about 1 inch in size)
  • 1/2 green bell pepper
  • 1/2 small onion

For the Marinade:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp white vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

Instructions
