Orange Creamsicle Slush

This Orange Creamsicle Slush is so creamy, orangey, and refreshing! They are super simple and super quick to make. In just 5 minutes you can be in orange creamsicle heaven.

These creamsicle drinks are creamy in color because we aren’t adding any artificial coloring to them.

This recipe is similar in flavor to an Orange Julius, Push-up pops, or an Orange Creamsicle Ice Cream Bar.

Frozen Orange Creamsicle Drink

Change it up by using frozen strawberries instead of ice cubes. Or swap out the sugar and cream for healthier choices. But!!! I think it’s PERFECT just the way it is.

This recipe makes 2 large servings.

How to make Orange Creamsicle Drink

Combine the orange juice, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract in a blender. Click for a blender.

Add the ice cubes. I use 2 ½” crescent-shaped cubes. If your cubes are smaller or bigger you may need to adjust the number of cubes to get a medium-thick slush.

Blend until completely smooth.

Pour into 2 hurricane-style glasses.

Serve and enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups orange juice
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 16 ice cubes (see notes)

Instructions

  1. Combine orange juice, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract in a blender. Click for a blender.
  2. Add ice cubes and blend until completely smooth.
  3. Pour into 2 hurricane style glasses.
  4. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

  • I use 2 ½” crescent shaped cubes. If your cubes are smaller or bigger you may need to adjust the amount of cubes to get a medium thick slush.

Does it work with Half n Half? Asking because I always have that but not always heavy cream.

Hi Teresa, yes half and half should also work. The consistency may be slightly thinner but should still taste excellent. Enjoy!

OMGeee. Amazing ! I did modify by using SF orange pop and swerve. Plus i added vodka but.... Amazing !
