How to make Strawberry Bread Pudding
For the Bread Pudding
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 C).
Slice the strawberries and cut the bread into cubes.
Spray two 20 oz oven-safe bowls with non-stick baking spray. Click for 20 oz oven safe bowls.
Whisk the milk, cornstarch, granulated sugar, egg, lemon juice, and vanilla together in a large bowl.
Mix in the bread cubes and stir until all are well coated.
Fold the sliced strawberries into the bread mixture.
Pour the bread pudding into the two bowls, divided evenly.
Bake for 30 minutes or until lightly golden and set.
Remove from the oven and cool for 15 minutes before adding the glaze.
For the Cream Glaze
While the bread pudding cools, place the butter and heavy cream in a bowl and microwave until melted.
Whisk in the powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.
Pour over the bread pudding after the allotted cooling time.

- 3 cups Italian bread (about 3 slices)
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup strawberries
For the Glaze:
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 1 Tablespoon heavy cream
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla
