Cheesy Creamed Corn

Cheesy Creamed Corn has a delicious combination of buttery corn mixed with cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and seasonings.

This cheesy version is so much better than a store bought can of creamed corn. It is easy and quick to make, ready in just 15 minutes.

On a chilly day, this tasty comforting side dish is sure to warm your belly! It’s also beautiful, impressive, and made in just one pan.

We love to grill all year long even when the snow is deep! So, we served this yummy cheesy creamed corn with these Grilled Beer Can Cornish Hens and these Homemade Dinner Rolls.

This recipe is a downsized small batch and serves 4 people. It’s also a great side dish for a small Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner.

How to make Cheesy Creamed Corn:

In a medium sauce pan over medium heat, add the corn, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, butter, milk, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine. Click for a medium sauce pan.

Cook, stirring often, until warmed through, the cheese is melted, and corn is cooked, about 10 – 15 minutes.

Cheesy Creamed Corn has a delicious combination of buttery corn mixed with cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and seasonings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen corn
  • 1 oz cream cheese
  • 1 Tbsp shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1/8 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • Fresh Parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium sauce pan over medium heat, add the corn, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, butter, milk, sugar, salt and pepper.  Stir to combine. Click for a medium sauce pan.
  2. Cook, stirring often, until warmed through, the cheese is melted, and corn is cooked, about 10 - 15 minutes.
