This Grilled Salmon with Sweet Chili Sauce is easy with just 4 ingredients, and delicious with just a hint of spicy flavor.
The salmon is marinated in a sweet chili, ground ginger and soy sauce mixture, grilled and then topped with a sweet chili, ginger and soy sauce glaze.

You can kick it up a notch by adding some red pepper flakes if you prefer a spicier flavor sensation.
Plan ahead as you need 1 hour to marinate the salmon.
This low-carb dish makes a perfect lunch, dinner or romantic date night meal for two. We served ours with black beans and rice and steamed broccoli.

How to make Grilled Salmon with Thai Sweet Chili Glaze:
Make the marinade by combining the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce and ginger in a shallow dish.

Spoon 1/4 cup of the marinade into a small dish and set aside. This will be the glaze for the cooked fish.
Add the salmon fillets, skin side up, to the remaining marinade and marinate for 1 hour in the refrigerator.

Cut the green onion into diagonal slices and set aside.
Preheat the grill for direct grilling over medium heat.
Brush olive oil over the grill grate and spray a grill basket with non-stick spray. Click for a grill basket.
Grill the salmon for about 3 – 5 minutes depending on the thickness of the fish.

Flip the salmon over gently and continue grilling about 3 – 5 minutes or until browned in spots and opaque in the center.

Transfer the salmon to serving plates and pour the reserved sauce over top.
Garnish with green onions if desired and serve.

- 2 salmon filets (about 6 ounces each, skin on or off)
- 1/3 cup Thai Sweet Chili Sauce
- 3 Tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 green onion (green parts only for garnish - optional)
