These are the best crispy baked potatoes ever! They have crispy chewy salted golden skin, and are light and fluffy on the inside.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 C).

Wash the potatoes, and pierce the skin several times with a knife or fork.

In a bowl, rub the potatoes with the oil until completely coated.

Place the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Click for a baking sheet and for aluminum foil.

Sprinkle each potato all over generously with the salt, divided evenly.

Bake for 45 minutes, or until slightly soft and golden brown. (1 hour for larger potatoes)
