How to make Peanut Butter Brownies
Step 1 - Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 - Spray a 6x6-inch square baking pan with baking spray and line with parchment paper.
Step 3 - Melt the butter over medium heat in a small saucepan.
Step 4 - Remove from the heat and whisk in ¼ cup chocolate chips. Continue whisking until fully melted. Transfer to a large mixing bowl and let cool for a few minutes.
Step 5 - Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in another medium bowl.
Step 6 - To the melted chocolate mixture, whisk in the white sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
Step 7 - Fold in the flour mixture until well combined.
Step 8 - Fold in the remaining ¼ cup chocolate chips.
Step 9 - Pour the batter into the prepared pan and use a spatula to spread the batter to the edges of the pan.
Step 10 - Drop the peanut butter by teaspoonfuls on top of the batter. Use the tip of a butter knife or a toothpick to swirl it into the brownie layer.
Step 11 - Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the center doesn’t wobble when the pan is gently shaken
Step 12 - Let the brownies cool in the pan completely before slicing.
