Imitation crab is made from surimi, which is minced fish, like pollock, that has been formed into crab-like cuts. It is affordable and versatile. You can substitute it in almost any recipe that calls for shellfish. It contains omega-3s, is a good source of protein, low in carbs, cholesterol, calories, and is low in fat.

How to make Crab Meat Salad:

Roughly chop the imitation crab meat on a cutting board.

Dice the onion and celery into small pieces.

  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon dill
  • Table salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
