I made these with some leftover blackened salmon from last night, and they turned out DELICIOUS. Really tasty. Since school starts next week, I'm freezing the remaining two for a quick and easy dinner one night when I'm not up for cooking from scratch. Thank you!

Can the leftovers be frozen? This recipe sounds delicious!

Hi Patti, I believe you can. Once you cook the patties, cool them completely, and freeze in an air tight container or zipper baggie. You may want to separate them with layers of parchment paper in between. Try reheating them in the oven, wrapped in foil at first until heated through, then a minute or two unwrapped.

Would this recipe work for a can of salmon?

Zona

Hi Anita, I have tried it with canned salmon and the recipe worked fine for me however, I wasn't impressed with the texture and taste as much and felt like the fresh salmon was so much better. Thanks for your question and I hope this helps.
