The ginger spiced hoisin and soy sauces, combined with the honey, green onions or chives, and toasted sesame seeds give these wings the perfect flavor combination.

 

This small batch recipe serves two and makes a great appetizer or light meal for watching the big game.

 

How to make Baked Asian Wings:

Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 C).

 

In a small dry frying pan (no oil or spray) cook the sesame seeds over medium heat, stirring often just until lightly browned. Click here for a small frying pan.

Mix the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, oil, honey, ginger, green onions or chives, toasted sesame seeds, salt and pepper together in a bowl.

 

Toss the chicken wing portions in the sauce mixture to coat.

Bake for 40 minutes stirring once half way through cooking.

  • 4 Tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons oil
  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 Tablespoons sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb chicken wing portions (wingettes and drumettes)
