Asian Glazed Chicken Wings

This Asian Glazed Chicken Wings recipe is easy and wonderfully delicious, sweet, salty, and sticky. The ginger, hoisin, and soy sauces, combined with honey, green onions, and toasted sesame seeds give these wings the perfect flavor combination.

How to make Asian Glazed Chicken Wings

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

In a small dry frying pan (no oil or spray) cook the sesame seeds over medium heat, stirring often just until lightly browned. Click here for a small frying pan.

Mix the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, oil, honey, ginger, green onions, toasted sesame seeds, salt and pepper together in a bowl.

Toss the chicken wing portions in the sauce mixture to coat.

Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray and pour the wings and sauce in. Click for a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.

Bake for 40 minutes stirring once halfway through cooking.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp sesame seeds
  • 4 Tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 lbs chicken wings (wingettes and drumettes)

  • Toss the chicken wing portions in the sauce mixture to coat.

  • Bake for 40 minutes stirring once half way through cooking.
