Why I love this recipe
I love this recipe for its simplicity, featuring just five easy-to-follow steps that make the cooking process a breeze. What I find especially appealing is that it’s ready to enjoy in around 25 minutes, making it perfect for a quick and satisfying meal on busy days.
Expert tips
This recipe adds uncooked gnocchi directly into a simmering sauce made with broth, cream, and tomato paste. The gnocchi releases starch, thickening the sauce.
Don’t overcook them. Gnocchi cook quickly, about 3-5 minutes. Overcooked gnocchi becomes gummy.
For convenience, use store-bought high-quality, shelf-stable, or refrigerated gnocchi, which work well and save prep time.
