5 Minute Pizza Sauce

This 5 Minute Pizza Sauce is thick, full of flavor, and takes just 2 steps! It is healthier and tastier than the store-bought pizza sauce, and it’s vegan-friendly. It’s richer and thicker than a marinara sauce. Use it with your favorite pizza dough and add your favorite toppings on your next pizza night. This recipe makes about 2 cups of sauce.

Why I love this recipe

This quick, no-cook pizza sauce is super easy. We use half of the sauce per 12-inch or 14-inch pizza, and we use this easy homemade pizza dough recipe. You can also use it as a dipping sauce for garlic bread or breadsticks. It tastes better the longer it sits, so I make this sauce before I make my pizza dough.

Pro Tips

For a smoother sauce, you can mix it using an immersion blender or a food processor until it reaches your desired consistency.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 4-5 days.

To freeze, place half of the sauce in each freezer bag and lay them flat to save space. To thaw, place the bag in a bowl of water for about 20-30 minutes or allow it to thaw in the fridge for 24 hours.
