How to make Cheesy Kielbasa Potato Soup
Step 1 – Add the sausage slices, carrots, minced garlic, cream of chicken soup, hash brown potatoes, light beer, salt, and pepper to a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring the mixture to a low boil.
Step 2 – Then cover and reduce the heat to medium-low. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are fork-tender.
Step 3 – Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and combined. Add in more salt and pepper if needed.
Serve and enjoy!

- 1 cup frozen cubed hash brown potatoes
- 1 cup light beer (or chicken broth)
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
