Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
Bake the French fries according to the package directions (or deep fry at 375 degrees F. for 3 – 5 minutes and drain on a paper towel lined plate).
Season the fries with salt and pepper.
Place the fries in two 18.6 ounce individual oven safe dishes, divided evenly.
Cover the fries with the shredded pork, divided evenly.
Pour on the BBQ sauce, divided evenly.
Add the shredded cheese, divided evenly.
Sprinkle with some chopped chives or green onions.
Place them back in the oven until the cheese is melted and the pulled pork is heated through, about 10 - 15 minutes.
Top with sour cream if desired.
Serve hot dishes on cork trivets to protect tables and surfaces. Caution – baking dishes will be very hot.
