Place Tilapia fillets on a small baking sheet lined with tinfoil and sprayed with non-stick spray.
Broil for 5 – 10 minutes (depending on thickness) or until almost done.
In a small bowl combine the Parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise, chives, season salt, dried basil, and black pepper and mix it well.
Spread cheese mixture on fillets and broil another 3 - 5 minutes or until browned. Watch it closely so it doesn't burn.

You can also bake this dish. Bake the fish in an oven preheated to 425°F for 10-20 minutes, or until it flakes easily. Spread the fish with the cheese mixture and bake or broil until golden brown, about 5 minutes. (I highly recommend broiling for the last 5 minutes for browning the cheese.) Baking time will depend on the thickness of the fish you use.
