This is the best Bread Machine Pizza Dough for a perfect homemade pizza crust full of flavor every single time. This pizza dough fills a 14 inch pizza pan and makes 6-8 thick slices.
1cupwarm water(should feel barely warm to your finger)
For the Pan:
¼cupcooking oil for pan(not olive oil)
Your favorite sauce and toppings
Instructions
For the Dough:
Place all of the dough ingredients in the bread machine pan in the order listed.
Choose the dough cycle on the bread machine.
Close lid and press start. Mine takes 90 minutes to finish.
Turn the dough out onto a flat, lightly floured surface.
Using a rolling pin, roll the ball of dough into a circle 1 inch bigger than the pan.
For the Pan:
Place 1/4 cup cooking oil in the bottom of the high-sided 14 inch pizza pan. Swirl the pan to coat it evenly.
Place the dough in the prepared pan. Optional - spray around the dough edge with non-stick cooking spray.
Preheat the oven to 550 degrees F.
Spoon pizza sauce onto the dough and spread to within 1/2 inch of the edges.
Add your favorite pizza toppings. Let it rest until the oven finishes pre-heating.
Bake about 12-13 minutes or until done.
Use a large spatula and pan gripper to remove the pizza from the pan to a flat surface, like a large cutting board or a cold pizza stone, and cut into 6-8 wedges.
