If you're in search of a tasty and speedy dinner choice, this Shrimp Gnocchi Recipe is perfect! Featuring a creamy, homemade Alfredo sauce infused with garlic and loaded with rich, shredded Parmesan cheese, it's bound to be a favorite. The succulent shrimp pair beautifully with the golden-brown gnocchi. This creates a delightful one-pan dish that can be prepared in just 20 minutes. Savor every bite!
½poundshrimp, thawed(I buy peeled, deveined, and tails removed)
Optional garnish – 1/2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Cut the cream cheese into cubes.
Heat a large, high-sided skillet over medium heat. Add the gnocchi and butter. Fry for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the cream cheese and stir for a couple of minutes until melted. At this stage, it won't have a smooth and creamy texture yet.
Incorporate the milk, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook for about 2 minutes or until the cheese melts, thickens, and achieves a smooth consistency.
Place the shrimp into the creamy Alfredo sauce. Cook on medium heat for 3 minutes, flipping the shrimp halfway. Once cooked, the shrimp will appear opaque and pink.
Optionally, garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve and enjoy!
