Ingredients
1poundfully cooked ham
2celery stalks
½of a small onion
½cupmayonnaise
2Tablespoonssweet pickle relish
1teaspoonyellow mustard
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional - 2 hard-boiled eggs
Optional - sandwich rolls or crackers
Instructions
Place the ham, hard-boiled eggs, celery, and onion in a large food processor and pulse until finely chopped. You can also chop everything by hand until finely diced but this will add time to the recipe.
Combine the ham mixture, mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, and mustard in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
Taste the ham spread and add salt and black pepper if needed.
Refrigerate until time to serve, 1 – 2 hours is best for flavor.
Serve on sandwich rolls or crackers.
Notes
If you need to make the hard-boiled egg, the time to make this recipe will increase.
If you want spicy ham salad, try adding horseradish.
