If you love lobster, you'll adore this quick and easy Grilled Lobster Tail Recipe! It’s perfect for a romantic dinner for date night or any special occasion. Dip the tender meat in homemade garlic butter sauce, and you’ll have a delicious meal ready in just 20 minutes!
2lobster tails 9 ounces each(see notes for 4 ounce directions)
1Tablespooncooking oil
Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk together the butter, lemon juice, garlic, sea salt & Old Bay seasoning. Set aside for later.
Turn the lobster tails upside down and use kitchen shears to cut lengthwise through the centers of the soft underbelly of the tails.
Preheat a grill to medium-high heat.
With the cut side up, brush lobster meat with the cooking oil.
Place the tails cut side down on the heated grill for 6 minutes, until the top of the shell is bright red.
Flip the tails over and spoon some of the butter mixture over each tail.
Grill for about 6 minutes more to bring out the natural flavor.
Serve the lobster tails with the rest of the butter mixture for dipping.

Notes about ingredients and substitutions
For 4-ounce tails, grill 5 minutes per side.
If you have leftover lobster meat or just want to use it elsewhere, it can be used to make lobster bisque, lobster mac and cheese, lobster risotto, or as a lobster roll sandwich.
Storage Instructions
To store lobster tails - cooked lobster tails can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days in an airtight container after being removed from the shells. For longer storage, they can be frozen for up to 3 months.
