1 ½cupsall-purpose flour(plus 1 tablespoon for coating chocolate)
1teaspoonbaking soda
½teaspoonsalt
½teaspooncinnamon
½teaspoonvanilla extract
1cupchocolate chunks
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Grease and flour a bread loaf pan. (9x5-inch)
In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar.
Mash the bananas with a fork and add them to the batter along with eggs, and vanilla, mixing until blended.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon, then add to the batter.
Toss the chocolate chunks in 1 tablespoon of flour.
Add ¾ cup of the chocolate to the batter, stir gently to combine. Pour into prepared loaf pan.
Top the batter with the remaining ¼ cup of chocolate.
Bake for 55-60 min or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let banana bread rest in the pan for 10 min before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
