Cream Cheese Danishes
crescent dough sheet
Preheat the oven.
Unroll the crescent dough sheet on wax paper and cut into rectangles.
Place onto a baking sheet lined with a parchment paper, about 2 inches apart.
Roll each into a long log shape.
Twist the log like a candy cane then wrap the twisted log into a circle shape. Tuck the end underneath if desired.
Press the center flat with your thumb to create a well.
In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and sour cream until well combined.
Add about 2 tablespoons of filling to the center of each roll.
Lightly brush melted butter over the dough that isn’t covered by the cream cheese mixture.
Bake until lightly golden brown.
Cool 10 minutes.
In a small bowl, stir together confectioners' sugar, milk and softened butter. Whisk in more milk or powdered sugar until it is drizzle consistency.
Drizzle the glaze over the tops of the Danishes using a spoon.
