This book is about a man and his father who write letters back and forth to each other. The son is a Christian whose father is skeptical and asks all the tough questions about Christianity.

Let me start by saying; I love this book! My husband and I read this book together after a friend recommended it to us. Every night we sat on the sofa together to read this book. We often read books together and we take turns reading out loud to each other. This book made that even more fun for us as one of us read the “son” parts and the other read the “dad” parts. I loved feeling like we were part of a very real relationship between this son and his dad.

We both felt like we learned so much about Christianity even though we have both been Christians for over 30 years each. Every chapter or correspondence opened up so much discussion between us that we helped each other understand it and even learned a lot about each other in the process. By the end of the book we were both incredibly touched and emotionally involved with this true life story.

The author offers compelling reasons which explain why God can be trusted, how the Bible stands the tests of time, and why Jesus is Gods answer to the voids of the human heart. If you have questions, they are probably in this book, clearly answered and easy to understand.

This book is a huge stepping stone in my own personal walk with God and I highly recommend it!

Here is a quote from my husband:

“This book came recommended to me by a guy at Bible Study.  What an awesome read!  It addressed some of the questions I, myself have had regarding God’s actions, and answered them in a way that makes sense to me.  Not at all an “intellectual, difficult” book to read or comprehend.  It breaks down the topics of discussion so that they are very understandable and easy to follow.  My wife and I read it together and it has made a change in both my individual walk with God, and our walk as a couple.  What a great conversation starter! I highly recommend reading this book for yourself, and if you are up for it, read it with your spouse.  It will bless you!”
